Four researchers from Norway's Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research, Eirik Vinje Galaasen (Ph.D.-candidate, UiB), Ulysses S. Ninnemann (professor, UiB), Nil Irvalı (researcher II, Uni Research) and Helga (Kikki) Flesche Kleiven (associate professor, UiB) have reconstructed the surface ocean conditions and concomitant deep ocean circulation of about 125,000 years ago, in cooperation with Yair Rosenthal ved Rutgers University i USA, Cathrine Kissel ved Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement i Paris og David Hodell ved University of Cambridge.
