Scientists' camp at the measurement site in the rainforest (AMAZE-08 campaign, Feb. 2008). This image relates to an article that appeared in the Sept. 17, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Ulrich Pöschl of Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz, Germany, and colleagues was titled, "Rainforest Aerosols as Biogenic Nuclei of Clouds and Precipitation in the Amazon."
