A male digger bee (<i>Habropoda pallida</i>) from the Mojave Desert covered with <i>Meloe franciscanus triungulins</i> (larvae). The larvae mimic chemical signals to attract male bees so they can parasitize bee nests, feeding on pollen, nectar and bee eggs.
