This is an X-ray fluorescence map of the first interstellar dust candidate, Orion. Red is aluminum, green is iron, blue is magnesium. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 15 August, 2014, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Andrew J. Westphal at the University of California, Berkeley in Berkeley, CA, and colleagues was titled, 'False color image of diffraction pattern from Orion.'
