This image relates to an article that appeared in the April 23, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Edward R. Cook of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University in Palisades, NY, and colleagues, was titled, "Asian Monsoon Failure and Megadrought During the Last Millennium."
