IMERG Video of Rainfall Totals over China and Japan (VIDEO)

NASA's IMERG calculated rainfall from Nepartak from July 3-10, 2016. The typhoon dropped over 500 mm (19.7 inches) in some areas. Even greater rainfall totals were calculated in areas of China and southern Japan that were not directly affected by typhoon Nepartak. Typhoon Nepartak's approximate locations at 0000Z and 1200Z are shown overlaid in white on IMERG rainfall estimate images.
