Confocal fluorescence microscopy image of a single neuron (green) in the fruit fly brain (magenta). This image relates to an article that appeared in the Oct. 26, 2007 issue of the journal Science, published by AAAS, as the winner of the 2007 Eppendorf and Science prize for neurobiology. The study, by Dr. Rachel Wilson at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, was titled 'Neural Circuits Underlying Chemical Perception.'
