Ponds and lakes are attractive features in the landscape and they often sustain a rich community of aquatic plants. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 15 Nov. issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by L.L. Iversen at University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark, and colleagues was titled, "Catchment properties and the photosynthetic trait composition of freshwater plant communities."
