Flowers and floral bract of Cornus × elwinortonii Starlight® are shown after opening at maturity. Unlike one of its parents, this hybrid can be grown in climates with sustained frosts. However, it can suffer from frost damage that weakens the ornamental display (seen on the far right, when compared to the two undamaged inflorescence on the left).
