NASA's Aqua satellite passed over the Philippine Sea and observed Tropical Storm Kalmaegi on Nov. 15 at 0425 UTC (Nov. 14, 2019 at 11:25 p.m. EST). The highest concentrations of water vapor (brown) and coldest cloud top temperatures were north and west of the center.
