The first relative of Tyrannosaurus rex from the southern continents has been discovered in Dinosaur Cove, Australia. This map shows the location of Dinosaur Cove approximately 110 million years ago. This image relates to an article that appeared in the March 26, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Roger Benson of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, UK, and colleagues, was titled, "A Southern Tyrant Reptile."
