Structure of Porous Carbon, Sulfur Dispersion and Electrochemical Reaction Process (IMAGE)
Caption
A schematic illustration of the structure of porous carbon, sulfur dispersion and electrochemical reaction process in the sulfur/carbon composite cathode. During electrochemical reaction, micropores in porous carbon have strong absorption of soluble polysulfides and constrain them into cathode to the largest extent, while mesopores and macropores help to load more sulfur and introduce electrolyte to increase reaction dynamics.
