Accelerating Development of New Sickle Cell Disease Treatments (2 of 2) (VIDEO)
Caption
We developed a kinetic model to predict the fraction of sickled RBCs according to patient-specific inputs and examine the therapeutic efficacy of anti-sickling agents. We show that the fraction of sickled RBCs decreases with the increase of anti-sickling agent concentration.
