Fish passage at the Santo Antônio Dam on the Madeira River, May 2016. There is strong evidence that important migratory fish species are not using the passage. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 01 November 2017, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by K. Timpe at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, and colleagues was titled, "The changing hydrology of a dammed Amazon."
