NASA-NOAA's Suomi NPP satellite passed the Eastern Pacific Ocean overnight on Aug. 20 at 4:14 a.m. EDT (0818 UTC) and captured a nighttime image of Tropical Storm Hurricane Genevieve. The image showed Genevieve moving northwest along the coast of Baja California, Mexico.
