The lizard Gallotia galloti (Lacertidae) drinking nectar from the cactus Opuntia dillenii, on the island of La Palma, the Canary Islands. This image relates to an article in the 21 April 2006 issue of the journal Science published by AAAS. This study, by Dr. Jordi Bascompte of Estación Biológica de Doñana, CSIC in Seville, Spain. was titled, "Asymmetric Coevolutionary Networks Facilitate Biodiversity Maintenance."
