This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Mar. 27, 2019, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by Q. Sang at Fudan University in Shanghai, China; and colleagues was titled, "A pannexin 1 channelopathy causes human oocyte death."
