On Sept. 14 at 6:05 a.m. EDT (1005 UTC), NASA's Aqua satellite passed over Tropical Storm Karina in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and found highest concentrations of water vapor (brown) and coldest cloud top temperatures were around the center.
