Computer Calculation

Caption

This is a computer calculation of electron dispersion bands for DyGe3 giving some insight into the nature of the metallic bond in this compound. Electron states are presented along high symmetry lines in the momentum space. States with energies below the Fermi level (i.e. below zero) are occupied, and those above the Fermi level (above zero) are free. ?, H, and M are typical high-symmetry points.
