Glasses equipped with a newly designed sensor can detect the motion of an intentionally closing eye, activating a range of hands-free tasks including typing or turning on a light. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the July 28,2017, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by X. Pu at Chongqing University in Chongqing, China, and colleagues was titled, "Eye motion triggered self-powered mechnosensational communication system using triboelectric nanogenerator."
