Red squirrel with possible leprosy, mild alopecia on ear. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 11 November 2016, issue of <i>Science</i>, published by AAAS. The paper, by C. Avanzi at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland, and colleagues was titled, "Red squirrels in the British Isles are infected with leprosy bacilli."
