Inspired by her mother Frances Williams, who had Alzheimer's disease, and her father Milton Williams, who was her caregiver, Christine L. Williams, DNSc., a professor in FAU's Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, conducted a unique study on AD, revealing for the first time communication patterns that sustain spouse-caregiver relationships.
