This is a screen shot of the Warfighter's Hearing Health Instructional Primer's (WHHIP) Hearing Protection Device Check feature, which allows warfighters to place protective plugs in their ears, snap a selfie and compare that image with a photo of someone wearing professionally fit plugs. The Office of Naval Research is sponsoring the development of WHHIP, a new app to help warfighters learn about hearing protection on their mobile Android devices.
