Intensive Therapy for CASK Kids (VIDEO)

Children with a genetic mutation that causes a medical condition known as microcephaly, which causes their heads and brains to be smaller compared with those other children, may benefit from 'Intensive Therapy.' Three children each received four hours of attention during weekdays for 10 treatment days total. Normally, the same therapy would be delivered in hour-long sessions over 40 days. The results reported in the journal BMC Research Notes were dramatic.
