Architectural Principles in Natural and Engineered Networks (VIDEO)
Caption
As natural and engineered networks evolve, small structures called motifs often emerge. We developed methods to decipher the rules for how these motif building blocks cluster and connect in complex networks. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the March 28, 2018, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by Thomas E. Gorochowski at BrisSynBio in Bristol, UK, and colleagues was titled, "Organization of feed-forward loop motifs reveals architectural principles in natural and engineered networks."
