This is a Curiosity rover self-portrait at the Namib Dune of the Bagnold Dune Field, Gale crater, Mars. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the July 1, 2016 issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by M.G.A. Lapotre at California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA, and colleagues was titled, "Large wind ripples on Mars: A record of atmospheric evolution."
