McMaster, NVIDIA Establish First CUDA Teaching Center in Canada (IMAGE)

McMaster is establishing the first NVIDIA CUDA Teaching Center in Canada. The Center, one of only 12 worldwide, will teach electrical and computer engineering students how to tap into the processing resources available in graphics processing units and use them in computationally demanding applications. Richard Fanson (left), a Master's student in electrical and computer engineering, works with assistant professor Alexandru Patriciu on a simulation that uses CUDA.
