'Structures of Closed and Open Conformations of Dimeric Human ATM' (1 of 2) (IMAGE)
Caption
Dimeric huma ATM kinase in equilibrium between closed and open state. Open state may be representative of an active form of the ATM kinase, which activates DNA double strand break repair and consequently inhibits cells cycle progression. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 10 May 2017, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by D. Bareti? at Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK, and colleagues was titled, "Structures of closed and open conformations of dimeric human ATM."
