The fully assembled autofocal prototype placed on a mannequin. Pictured are the Pupil Labs eye tracker, Intel RealSense R200 depth camera, Optotune EL-30-45 focus-tunable lenses, and custom coma-correction element. These are mounted onto a custom-built fram which also has slots to mount optional offset lenses for prescription correction. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the July 28th, 2019, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by N. Padmanaban at Stanford University in Stanford, CA, and colleagues was titled, "Autofocals: Evaluating gaze-contingent eyeglasses for presbyopes."
