This is a feathery integument preserved along the tail of the Early Cretaceous tyrannosaur Dilong paradoxus from China. This image relates to an article that appeared in the Sept. 17, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The review, by Stephen Brusatte of American Museum of Natural History in New York, N.Y., and colleagues was titled, "Tyrannosaur Paleobiology: New Research on Ancient Exemplar Organisms."
