Intersubject Correlation for Justified and Unjustified Movie Violence (IMAGE)
Caption
The figure shows intersubject correlation (ISC) for both character and action segments. Significant ISC maps for (A) justified and (B) unjustified movie violence for each 30-min period. Both conditions showed significant ISCs in occipital and temporal cortex associated with visual and auditory processing. The justified condition specifically elicited significant ISC in the ventromedial prefrontal cortex (vmPFC), while the unjustified condition specifically elicited significant ISC in frontal regions including lateral orbital frontal cortex (lOFC).
