These are instruments to measure atmospheric constituents onboard the zeppelin. This image relates to a paper that appeared in 18 April, 2014, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Xin Li at Perelman School of Medicine at the Institut für Energie-und Klimaforschung: Troposphäre (IEK-8), Forschungszentrum Jülich in Jülich, Germany, and colleagues was titled, "Missing Gas-Phase Source of HONO Inferred from Zeppelin Measurements in the Troposphere."
