This shows electron tranmission microscopy images on noble-metal nanoboxes with different interior structuration. The cube side is about 40 nm. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the Dec. 9, 2011, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by E. González at Institut Català de Nanotecnologia (ICN) in Bellaterra, Spain, and colleagues was titled, “Carving at the Nanoscale: Sequential Galvanic Exchange and Kirkendall Growth at Room Temperature.”
