This is the Containment Level 4 laboratory at Canada's National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The top left picture is the Ebola virus as captured by an electron microscope. The bottom left picture represents a schematic of an antibody (similar to the ones used in the study to treat the Ebola infection). This image relates to a paper that appeared in the June 13, 2012 issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by Dr. X. Qiu at the Public Health Agency of Canada in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, and colleagues, was titled, "Successful Treatment of Ebola Virus-Infected Cynomolgus Macaques with Monoclonal Antibodies."
