Salk scientists create synthetic brain systems called 'circuitoids' to better understand dysfunctional movements in Parkinson's, ALS and other diseases. Confocal microscope immunofluorescent image of a spinal cord neural circuit made entirely from stem cells and termed a 'circuitoid.'
