A sea anemone with feeding tentacles everted in 25 meters of clear water during the Antarctic winter, 1997. This image relates to article that appeared in the July 18, 2008, issue of the journal Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Dan Smale the Natural Environment Research Council and colleagues, was titled "Ice Scour Disturbance in Antarctic Waters."
