This video shows a cell line (H1) carrying a reporter gene with a single high-affinity CCAAT box (recording time 48 hours). This film includes one frame every five minutes, using 20-fold magnification in the luminoview microscope. This video relates to an article that appeared in the March 17, 2011, issue of Science Express, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Suter, at University of Geneva in Geneva, Switzerland, and colleagues was titled, "Mammalian Genes are Transcribed with Widely Different Bursting Kinetics."
