The National American Italian Foundation (NAIF) and the Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO), presented the 2018 Young Investigator Award to NYU Tandon School of Engineering Assistant Professor Giuseppe Loianno. Loianno's presentation to the NAIF audience outlined his latest work with the Tokyo Electric Power Company to develop better drones to examine conditions deep in the Fukushima power plant in Japan.
