Sushma Reddy — Caption

Sushma Reddy, one of three lead authors of the new research and Bucksbaum Postdoctoral Fellow at the Field Museum, is photographed working at the Pritzker Laboratory for Molecular Systematics and Evolution. Much of the DNA sequencing and analysis for the Early Bird Assembling the Tree-of-Life Research Project was conducted in this Field Museum lab.
