Drosophila Wing Disc (IMAGE)
Caption
This is a Drosophila wing disc containing a group of cells (in green) where the receptor Notch has been removed. The absence of Notch leads to the activation of the pathway in the neighboring normal cells as you can see by the expression of a target gene of the Notch pathway (in red).
