The experimental design depicted here was used to demonstrate that the tiger moth Bertholdia trigona jams the sonar of bats. This image relates to an article that appeared in the July 17, 2009, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. A. J. Corcoran of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and colleagues, was titled, "Tiger Moth Jams Bat Sonar."
