An international team of scientists, led by QUT researchers, may help in producing large amounts of vaccine in the fight against COVID-19. Professor Peter Waterhouse, an Australian Laureate Fellow, has developed a roadmap for biologists and biotechnologists who are turning to the new technique of producing antibodies, vaccines and therapeutics, including those for COVID-19, in plants.
