Single polariton vortex ultrafast imaging. The animation has been rebuilt from experimental amplitude and phase measurements. The height and color indicates the emitted photonic-field, while the optical rotation has been slowed down to make its representation possible within the same time-scale of the whole dynamics. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Dec. 4, 2015, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by L. Dominici at Centre National de la Recherche (CNR) NANOTEC-Istituto di Nanotecnologia in Lecce, Italy, and colleagues was titled, 'Vortex and half-vortex dynamics in a nonlinear spinor quantum fluid.'
