A new, ultra-thin electronic skin contains a digital display that lights up by red polymer light-emitting diodes. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the April 15, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by T. Yokota at The University of Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan, and colleagues was titled, "Ultraflexible organic photonic skin."
