Neither JNK activation nor disruption of mitochondrial outer membrane potential is required for cell death induced by CIB1 depletion. CIB1-depleted SK-N-SH (a) and MDA-468 (b) cells were treated with or without 10 mM SP00125 (JNK inhibitor) immediately after lentiviral transduction. Cell death was quantified as in Figure 1c. Data represent means +/- SEM, n=2 (c) Assessment of mitochondrial outer membrane potential in MDA-468 cells was performed as in Figure 2b.
