Taking clear pictures of megaenzymes isn't easy. But it's definitely worth it. These proteins play an active role in creating many common antibiotics. Prof. Martin Schmeing from McGill's Dept. of Biochemistry has been able to take 3-D images of part of a crucial medicine-synthesizing protein in action.
