This is an example of aneuploidy formation: mis-segregating chromosomes in HeLa cells stably expressing EGFP-Tubulin and H2b-mCherry. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 10 April 2015 issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Rajiv McCoy at the Stanford University in Stanford, CA, and colleagues was titled, 'Common variants spanning PLK4 are associated with mitotic-origin aneuploidy in human embryos.'
