NASA AIRS Image Shows Stronger T-storms in Typhoon Songda

NASA's Aqua satellite passed over Typhoon Songda earlier today, May 24, at 04:29 UTC and the infrared imagery from the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) instrument revealed stronger thunderstorms (purple) near its low-level center.
