NASA-NOAA's Suomi NPP satellite passed over Tropical Storm Nakri on Nov. 7 and captured a visible image of the storm in the South China Sea. Although the bulk of the storm was not over any land areas, the southwestern quadrant was over the island of Kalayaan, Palawan.
