Covid-19 vaccine and transplant patients (IMAGE)

A medical assistant prepares a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to be administered to a patient. Johns Hopkins Medicine researchers recently showed that after one dose of the vaccine, organ transplant patients and other immunocompromised people may not produce high levels of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
